There are two meetings this week that impact the Santa Clara community.
The first is a Community Advisory Committee meeting where neighbors working on plan goals will be spending about 5 minutes each sharing their top insights and priorities. This is a great opportunity to learn about the goals in the five topic areas: Transportation, Economic Development, Land Use, Parks & Natural Areas and Community.

The second meeting is a public hearing regarding the proposed LTD transit station at the old Santa Clara Elementary school site.

Why is this meeting at 5pm. Some of us are still at work. Also, why is it downtown. Very difficult to maneuver any 5 traffic, let alone try to park downtown. Can all future meetings on this topic be held in Santa Clara/River Road area?
