Rental Assistance Applications Open TODAY
New rental assistance for tenants will be available starting today, Wednesday, May 19th. The Oregon Emergency Rental Assistance Program, or OERAP, will distribute $204 million in federal dollars to qualified renters – low income households at 80% of Area Median Income or less who have experienced a financial hardship. These funds can be used to help with current, future, or past rent, as well as utility payments. There will be one centralized statewide tenant application run by Oregon Housing and Community Services for this program – more information on OERAP can be found at www.OregonRentalAssistance.org
