Also, Revisiting creating a dog park<\/strong><\/p>\n

Last year the Santa Clara Community Organization supported and
\nresearched the creation of a dog park in Santa Clara. It was decided
\nthat the best place for one would be Lone Oak Park — an undeveloped
\npark bordering Division Avenue. The possibility looked promising until the
\nCity decided that might be a good spot for a homeless rest stop (which they subsequently decided not to do) and a change in leadership in the City Parks Department disrupting the continuity of our progress. This may be perhaps a good time to try to kickstart this process.<\/p>\n

And<\/strong> — Input in what should be included in area plan<\/p>\n

Before the area plan for River Road and Santa Clara is launched in about a month we will be considering the 6 areas that will comprise the area plan
\nand suggest what would be important to consider as the plan is constructed:<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 Parks and Recreation
\n\u2022 Transportation
\n\u2022 Public Safety
\n\u2022 Economic Development
\n\u2022 Governance<\/p>\n
