Here’s some follow up from the Disaster Preparedness presentation at January’s SCCO meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There will be a CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) refresher course on February 6th from 6:30 to 8:30. The course will be held at the fire training facility located on 2nd and Chambers. The course will cover lessons learned from the California fires. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monthly meetings concerning disaster preparedness in the Northwest Eugene area will start in March. They will be every second Saturday of the month from 10-noon, and will be held at the rec center at Emerald Park. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
