Ride to a portion of the old school property. \u00a0Vobora stated that LTD&#8217;s current thinking is to sell the portion of the property not to be used for busing. \u00a0The portion that would be sold would likely be used for development of\u00a0affordable housing and commercial development. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>As part of the overall transaction, Umpqua Bank added a house at no cost to LTD. \u00a0The house will be donated to the Veteran&#8217;s Housing Project.<\/p>\n<p>The Register-Guard published a <a href=\"http:\/\/registerguard.com\/rg\/news\/local\/33285360-75\/ltd-donates-lot-to-veterans-housing-project.html.csp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">long article<\/a> on the subject in their City-Region section of the July 11th edition.<\/p>\n<p>If you are interested in the development plans in the Santa Clara area, we encourage you to attend our SCCO \u00a0meetings the first Thursday of each month.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Andy Vobora, Santa Clara resident and LTD\u00a0Director of Customer Services and Planning, attended the SCCO meeting in June and gave us an update on the Santa Clara Elementary School Property. \u00a0 LTD has purchased the property with the intent to &hellip;
