Ready NW Eugene Emergency Preparedness will do a virtual walk-through of an emergency\u00a0 where a chemical spill takes place at the railyards.\u00a0 Under the scenario the wind will push the chemicals into River Road and Santa Clara.\u00a0 Bethel neighbors will provide safe places for people who escape from the spill and downwind areas.\u00a0 Others will be advised to stay in their homes, create a safe room, and learn what to do to stop any chemical infiltration.\u00a0 I can provide more specifics to anyone interested in participating.\u00a0 It would be great to have 2 or 3 others to be a part of the drill.\u00a0 In any case we will have a post event writeup to publish.
