The anonymous survey is available at&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/click.icptrack.com\/icp\/relay.php?r=62084763&amp;msgid=2096471&amp;act=2GKZ&amp;c=983404&amp;destination=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.LaneCountyOR.gov%2FARPA&amp;cf=6725&amp;v=4afa271a672535a87876888ee96b96bde387db08788f18be9a6628566fe0c47f\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LaneCountyOR.gov\/ARPA<\/a>&nbsp;in both English and Spanish. The survey will be available until February 28.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Funding from the American Rescue Plan Act is one-time funding intended to help communities recover from the effects of the pandemic. Local governments are required to use ARPA funds for four primary purposes: replace lost public sector revenue; respond to the far-reaching public health and negative economic impacts of the pandemic; provide premium pay for essential workers; and invest in water, sewer and broadband infrastructure.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Current ARPA allocations<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Board of County Commissioners has already allocated $55 million in ARPA funds and $13 million in state-allocated Local Fiscal Recovery Funds to priority projects that meet the requirements for use of ARPA funds:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>$18.4 million for housing and homelessness<\/li><li>$7 million to build a new behavioral health crisis center<\/li><li>$1.2 million for public health<\/li><li>$1.1 million for courtroom digital modernization<\/li><li>$8.5 million for COVID response<\/li><li>$5.3 million for aid to nonprofits<\/li><li>$9.8 million to support financial stability of the County<\/li><li>$17.5 million for public safety<\/li><li>$4 million set aside for unanticipated pandemic response expenses<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information about Lane County\u2019s use of ARPA funds, visit&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/click.icptrack.com\/icp\/relay.php?r=62084763&amp;msgid=2096471&amp;act=2GKZ&amp;c=983404&amp;destination=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.LaneCountyOR.gov%2FARPA&amp;cf=6725&amp;v=4afa271a672535a87876888ee96b96bde387db08788f18be9a6628566fe0c47f\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LaneCountyOR.gov\/ARPA<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lane County residents are invited to take a short online survey to help Lane County prioritize the use of $15 million in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds.
