T\"Christmas<\/a>he Friends of Awbrey Park received a Christmas present in the form of a new bridge that connects the park with the neighbors to the east of the park. \u00a0Previously, neighbors had to traverse a slippery log over a creek or walk along Spring Creek Drive where there is no sidewalk.<\/p>\n

Work has been underway for about three months including a few minor delays due to inclement weather. \u00a0A compacted gravel path winds through the woods to the bridge. \u00a0Once across the bridge, it is a short walk to a beautiful stone bridge – Devinstone Bridge and then onto the playing fields and playgrounds.<\/p>\n
