The park is located at&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/tJwsGMDgZf4sjST28\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">4291 River Road<\/a>. There will be two guided tours as well as the opportunity to take a self-guided tour. Discover native flowers, shrubs, and trees. The Friends of Awbrey Park will be stationed throughout the park to help you find trillium, lupine, red Columbine, bleeding heart, violets, fairy bells, false Solomon\u2019s Seal, Oregon myrtle, and much, much more. Other items to look forward to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Live Music from Santa Clara musicians\u2013 Singer and songwriter Tim Foelker and the group The Nostalgics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Treasure Hunt \u2013 Search for native plants and earn a native plant while supplies last. Plants are provided by the City of Eugene.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rock Painting \u2013 Rocks and paint provided. (<a href=\"https:\/\/santaclaracommunity.org\/scco\/scco-meeting-april-3-eugene-parks-foundation-transitional-housing-at-st-matthews-episcopal-church\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">You can attend SCCO meetings in person or via Google Meets<\/a>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/santaclaracommunityfoundation.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Santa Clara Community Foundation<\/a>&nbsp;\u2013 The SCCF is a 501(c)3 non-profit that supports several projects including renovating the old (1901) schoolhouse on River Loop 2 and returning Hileman Landing to a more natural state.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lane County Master Gardeners mobile plant clinic will be available to answer questions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lane County Audubon Society and Habitat Haven &#8211; learn how to certify your back yard as friendly to birds and pollinators<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Irving Grange will surprise you will all of the activities that they put on<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Boy Scout Troop 182 \u2013 Thank the young men who have helped chip our trails for many years and been responsible for the flourishing natives on \u2018Boy Scout Bank\u2019<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fema.gov\/emergency-managers\/individuals-communities\/preparedness-activities-webinars\/community-emergency-response-team\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CERT<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/eugeneemcomm.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Eugene EMCOMM<\/a>,&nbsp;and Ready Northwest will be at the event to give important information about Community Emergency Response and Emergency Communication. Learn about skills needed for fire safety, disaster medical operations, emergency communication, and a lot more.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Learn about the Rive Road Santa Clara Volunteer Library.  They have over 13,000 items, including fiction and nonfiction for adults and children, audiobooks, and DVDs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meet the Friends of Awbrey Park. The Friends just completed their 17th year of improving the park. If you haven\u2019t been to the park since late 2015, it is time to visit the park again. The City put in a new bridge to replace a slippery log. The bridge makes it safe to walk to the small forest in the east part of the park.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Bring a picnic. Children are more than welcome. The park features three playground areas. One for 2-5 years old and two for 6-12 years. There is also a large playfield, a pollinator garden, Spring Creek and a small forest where you will find woodpeckers, mallards, newts, and salamanders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information, please
