Try geocaching! Geocaching is a real-world outdoor treasure hunt using GPS-enabled devices like your smartphone or tablet.  Try to find a &#8216;cache&#8217; in Santa Clara or almost anywhere in Eugene and Springfield. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Caches in Santa Clara Parks (There are many others in Santa Clara)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Arrowhead Park<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Awbrey Park<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Filbert Meadows<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hileman Landing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Santa Clara Community Park (2)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Terra Linda Park<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wendover Park<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How to begin:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Get the Geocaching app from your phone or tablet&#8217;s app store.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open the app and review the various caches near you<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Walk or drive to a spot near the cache.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Walk while following the blue dot on your device.  The dot represents where the cache is. From micro at Terra Linda to irrigation looking systems on private property.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The blue dot will get you close; the description, hint, and photos should finish the job.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you find the cache, you can mark it as found, and you&#8217;ll see a smiley face on your device.  If you don&#8217;t find it, leave a message for the person who placed the cache.  An animal might have dragged off the cache.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The image below is what the geocaching app looks like.
