Twenty-one dogs, a cat, a hamster, and an unknown number of isopods (known to many of us as roly-polies) joined hundreds of frolickers on July 18 at the Grand Opening of Santa Clara’s Community Park for a Community Pet Parade!\u00a0Former SLUG\u00a0Queen Glo Leigh Anne Jasheway<\/strong>\u00a0led the way on a fine July morning through our new community park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Celebrity judges Master Gardener\/Recycler and KLCC host John Fischer,<\/strong> Raining SLUG Queen Hilaria Gastrognome<\/strong> (aka Jen Jay<\/strong>) and Mayor Kaarin Knudson<\/strong> had the difficult task of awarding prizes for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Largest (Penny the dog!) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Smallest (in a Surprise Move beating out the hamster, Isopods in a terrarium!) Too small to photograph!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hairiest (this cutie!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Best-Dressed (Cowgirl dog!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Best Attitude (Beau the puppy!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A great time was had by all. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
