City installs new Pedestrian Bridge at Santa Clara Community Park

Below is an approximate rendition of what the park should look like when completed. The recently installed pedestrian bridge connects the north and south sections of the park. Much work has been done along the park’s north side. Take a bicycle or car ride along River Loop 2 to see what has been done so far.

    That looks great. Looking forward to it. Only concern is the allocated dog park will be very small for the amount of large dogs currently residing here. Is it possible to not build the pool at an angle and provide a bit more dog space?

      Yes. Is it too late to change this plan?

        The northern portion is under construction. The southern portion won’t proceed for many, many years (unless the citizens of Eugene pass another bond). The plans for the southern portion have not been finalized. Concerns about the design of the park can be directed to Mark Kosmos at mkosmos@eugene-or.gov
