Ready NW Eugene Preparedness Updates

With summer 2023 turning to fall and the welcome rains we have gotten past this years wildfire season. As we start to wind down we can relax a bit and enjoy the changing colors of the leaves. It is also a good time to prepare for the potential of this winter’s storms and loss of power. Additionally, if you are in an area that is surrounded by trees or has the potential for fires or just want to know what you can do to protect your property from fires there is a new service by the Oregon Fire Marshall to assess your defensible space.  Also, on October 19th there is the Great Oregon Shakeout to help us prepare for a potential earthquake.

All of that and more is in the attached PDF file.

Please let us know if you have a problem opening the file.
