Work starts on I-105 Aug. 1
From ODOT:
We start paving nightly next week, the impacts and estimated schedule are outlined below for the upcoming lane and ramp closures. You can avoid delays by planning ahead and taking a different route.
To help get the work done faster and lessen the amount of time there will be traffic impacts, we are planning to have two weekends where we shift traffic, creating a dedicated work zone.
The first weekend shift we’ll move eastbound traffic into one of the westbound lanes. The second weekend we’ll move the westbound traffic into one of the eastbound lanes.
We have diagrams showing the plan for each of the weekend lane closures on our project webpage.

 Project DetailsAs part of the project, we will:Repave I-105 and some I-105 and I-5 on and off-ramps.Remove and replace seven bridge deck surfaces.Add rumble strips between milepost 2.25 and 4.Add reflective strips to guardrails for improved visibility. |
Bring your friends, lawn chairs or blankets and join us for live music, games for kids, and connection with neighbors. The free concert is at Awbrey Park on Sunday, August 6th from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
There will be two food trucks. Renee’s Fries and Kona Ice of North Eugene will be there. The first 100 shaved ice treats are complimentary!

Don’t forget about the Santa Clara Community Foundation Garden Party fundraiser, silent auction, and door prize event. Doors open at 4 PM, tomorrow (Saturday, July 22nd). Enjoy great food donated by Café Yumm!, custom dishes, beer, cider, soft drinks, and heat-beating treats. A donation of $10 at the door buys two libation drink tickets and two raffle tickets. Mix and match and buy as many tickets as you like. Door prize raffles happen regularly throughout the evening until 8:30 PM. Beer and cider donated by The Filling Station.
Then browse and bid on gift certificates (Lane Forest Products, Down to Earth, Mountain Rose Herbs, Home Depot, and more), artisan crafts, jewelry, services, local AirBnB stays, etc.
Enjoy music, learn about the nonprofit Foundation and its Santa Clara community projects (like the Schoolhouse Project), network with neighborhood leaders and other community members.

Plan ahead – We closed two ramps on eastbound Beltline Highway
On July 17, we closed the eastbound Beltline Highway on-ramp from Prairie Road.
