Cascade Mycological Society will once again be participating in Game of Shrooms, a world-wide hide and seek game of mushroom art. This year, CMS will be hiding mushroom art in the Santa Clara area of Eugene. Our official location is Awbrey Park. But, if Sandy gets motivated to make more art, she may also place some at Emerald Park. There are two other artists in Eugene and one in Springfield. The mission of the Cascade Mycological Society is:
- to study fungi;
- to educate members and the public about fungi identification and ecology;
- to promote conservation of fungi;
- to promote health and safety in the gathering and consumption of edible fungi,
- and to have fun!
