APRIL 29 Parks and Natural Resources forum for River Road and Santa Clara.
Are neighborhood parks and natural resources important to you?  Join us to hear the City of Eugene and Lane County report on progress with neighborhood priorities and what to expect in the near future.  Share your priorities and insight to help guide how our neighborhood plan unfolds. 
Some question and discussion time is built in.

MAY 2 Wildflower Celebration at Awbrey Park
Meet neighbors and see what sustained community park improvement with native plants looks like.  Treasure hunt, tours, food trucks, live music, activities, community booths, plant sale/fundraiser. 
11 am-2 pm (River Road and Spring Creek Drive)

MAY 7 Emergency Preparedness Fair 
In the event of an emergency, you are the help until the help arrives.  That could be hours or days, depending on the type of emergency.  Are you ready to help yourself, your family, and your neighbors?  The Santa Clara Community Organization meeting will feature stations covering facets of preparedness, with tips and tricks to help attendees be more prepared.
The beginning of the meeting will feature a brief pro/con of the Watershed Bill of Rights on the May ballot and SCCO board elections.
