LET’S REHEARSE AN EMERGENCY EVACUATION AND RECOVERY TOGETHER!

Ready NW Eugene invites you to a Virtual Evacuation Exercise on Tuesday, February 1st, 2022 from 6:00 – 7:30 pm via Zoom.

Join us to step through a simulated emergency scenario and discuss how you might respond to a threat in your immediate neighborhood. No prior experience is needed to join this conversation. This FEMA-created training technique is an excellent way to safely learn what a real emergency may feel like and what decisions and preparation we need to consider ahead of time.

Exercise Scenario:
Chlorine Gas Leak in NW Eugene

Exercise Goals:
Review city of Eugene evacuation alerts and zones.
Review personal readiness to either shelter in place or evacuate.
Review special needs of nearby neighbors.
Review post-evacuation communication options for returning to your home.

This exercise is brought to you by Ready NW Eugene, the Emergency Preparedness Teams of the NW Eugene neighborhoods – River Road Community Organization, Active Bethel Community, and Santa Clara Community Organization.
