Want safer streets near your child’s school? Fill out survey and attend the meeting.

Eugene School District 4J’s Safe Routes to School program and Awbrey Park Elementary School are working with partners at the City of Eugene and Lane County to make it safer for students to walk and bike to school. We would like to know which streets the community sees as the top priority for improvements. We would also like to gather input on possible safety improvements to Spring Creek Drive. No plans have been made and no changes are underway. We are in the information gathering stage and want to know your thoughts.

We invite you to a public meeting on Monday, May 21st from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at Awbrey Park Elementary School’s Cafeteria (158 Spring Creek Drive). The intention of the meeting is to collect input, so we will begin with a short presentation followed by discussion. If you cannot attend the meeting, we invite you to fill out a brief online survey at www.surveymonkey.com/r/5TQ7BMK.
