New trail at Awbrey Park. this is where the north side of the trail ends at the creek. You can see the construction of the south side of the creek in the background.
Neighbors and students at Awbrey Park school will have safer access to Awbrey Park when the trail is complete and the bridge is installed.
The trail will be finished by Saturday, November 7th. It’s also possible the footings for the brid
ge will be completed by that date. Drop by the park on the 7th and visit with the Friends of Awbrey Park from 9AM until noon..
Snacks, juices and coffee will be available. There will also be some extra gloves and tools for those who want to pull ivy, attack blackberries or otherwise play in the park.
In addition, the Friends of Awbrey Park, will be glad to show native plants that you may want to use around your house.
