EmX or Enhanced River Road Corridor? – Comment by Friday , March 18th

MovingAheadReImaginedPlease take the time to participate in MovingAhead’s on line open house.  There are three options on the table for River Road.  An ‘Enhanced Corridor’ alternative, an EmX option and a no build alternative.  The first two options include improvements for bicyclists and pedestrians.
Here’s the article from MovingAhead:

It’s not too late to let us know what you think about the MovingAhead alternatives!

We wanted to thank the over 75 people who came out to our open house last week! We heard great feedback on MovingAhead and look forward to using this information to conduct a more detailed study of the costs, benefits, and impacts of each alternative.
If you were not able to attend the open house, you still have time to participate in our online open house! Learn more about each corridor alternative and leave us a comment.

Act now, the online open house closes on Friday, March 18th!

Your participation is critical to developing and confirming the range of alternatives that will best accommodate all users along five corridors in Eugene (Highway 99, River Road, Coburg Road, 30th Avenue/Lane Community College, and Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard). A safe, accessible transportation system supports great neighborhoods and helps keep us and our economy healthy. We need your input about the right kind of improvements in each corridor – MovingAhead is looking at how to improve corridors for those who walk, bike, use mobility devices, and take transit.
