Eugene’s Rest Stop Program! [video]

The City Manager’s Office would like to share a video that was recently produced about Eugene’s Rest Stop Program which works to provide safe and legal places to sleep for people in our community who are experiencing homelessness. Rest stops allow up to 20 people to sleep overnight in tents or Conestoga huts on certain sites individually approved by the City Council. Each site must be managed by a site provider that signs an agreement with the City to supervise the site with certain provisions.

If you have any questions or would like to find out how your neighborhood could get involved, please contact Regan Watjus, (541) 682-8442
