One of the oldest pioneer cemeteries in Lane County is just north of Santa Clara neighborhood, on West Beacon Drive. Luper Cemetery, Inc., founded in 2009, is taking care of the cemetery, with the help of dozens of local individuals, businesses, and public agencies. The Luper Marker announces the Veterans Day weekend opening of the cemetery, November 11, 12, and 13, 9 am to 4 pm. Luper Cemetery is also available to walkers from Beacon Drive parking area every day dawn to dusk.
