For every dollar donated, FOOD For Lane County can access and distribute two meals.

A Green Food Drive is one that provides food for the hungry with less carbon inputs than traditional can drives. Canned and preserved food have lots of energy inputs-processing, trucking, packaging, etc., and ends up providing ingredients that have less nutritive value than locally produced fresher foods..
