It’s once again time for Santa Clara’s annual Winter events.

* December 21st at 5 PM, starting at the corner of Wendover and Scenic Drive. Winter Solstice Luminary Parade. Bring your own light.
‘How to’ ideas (See first image below): Paper cone with cutouts taped to a flashlight. Kitchen colander with a string and a flashlight. Cardboard box with cutouts – line with tissue paper for windows. A piece of paper with an x cut to catch dripping candle wax. Wooden frame covered with a tissue, on a tool stick with a lantern inside. A string of battery-powered LED Christmas lights to adorn yourself.

* December 23rd, 6:30 PM. Rain or Shine. Caroling. Start at the corner of Wendover & Scenic Drive.
Bring a light source to read the lyrics. Reading glasses. Good cheer. 10 copies if you suggest a song.
