September is designated for the Executive Board to work on organizational matters. There will not be a general meeting this month. SCCO residents are welcome to view the live meeting via Google Meet. During the public comment period at the start of the meeting, those who want to share concerns, suggestions, or creative ideas will have an opportunity to speak, but they will not be able to participate after the public comment period.
Main topics:
- Implementation of the River Road-Santa Clara Neighborhood Plan. We need folks to work with the River Road Community Organization and the City of Eugene to identify priorities and move them forward.
- SCCO communications – modes (website, email, Facebook, etc), limitations, ideas for improvement.
- Program organization for General Meetings – There is a need to be more proactive in deciding what topics to cover and then sharing the responsibility for making it happen.
