Our main presentation will be by Eric Carlson, president of the Santa Clara Water Board. He will be going over when the district was formed and why, its governance structure, how it is funded, what its purpose has been over time, and how it has evolved.
Eric will also go over how the district dovetails with other service providers such as EWEB. He will also cover what he sees as the future of the district – its purpose, financial viability, and whether there is an eventual plan for its retirement or if it is essential moving forward.
