The Urban Reserves Technical Group reached out at the beginning of July for feedback regarding reserving land outside the UGB for future UGB expansion. Please take the survey linked below. SCCO recommends both the 10-year and 27-year options as they exclude the most valuable close-in agricultural lands from consideration for any UGB expansion.
In case you missed it, they want to let you know that the Urban Reserves Options Survey is open for only 2 more days–the last day to take the survey is this Sunday July 26th. Please tell them what you think about the four Urban Reserves options under consideration, and spread the word with your networks. Folks that take the survey by Sunday July 26th will have the chance to win a $100 grocery gift card. They will be presenting survey results to the Eugene Planning Commission on August 3rd and to the Lane County Planning Commission on August 4th and want to make sure we hear from you before then.
