ODOT Construction Alert on I-105

Work starts on I-105 Aug. 1

From ODOT:

We start paving nightly next week, the impacts and estimated schedule are outlined below for the upcoming lane and ramp closures. You can avoid delays by planning ahead and taking a different route.

To help get the work done faster and lessen the amount of time there will be traffic impacts, we are planning to have two weekends where we shift traffic, creating a dedicated work zone.

The first weekend shift we’ll move eastbound traffic into one of the westbound lanes. The second weekend we’ll move the westbound traffic into one of the eastbound lanes.

We have diagrams showing the plan for each of the weekend lane closures on our project webpage.

Schedule

  • Aug. 1 – 3: We’ll start paving the road from Delta Highway to about Country Club Road. Expect single lane closures nightly, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Aug. 4 – 7: Starting at 8 p.m., we will shift traffic to the westbound lanes near Country Club Road to past Coburg Road while we pave and apply permanent striping on the eastbound lanes. We will reopen lanes by 5 a.m. Monday.

  1. Tiffany Brant says:

I cant find an appropriate place to report I-105 west pot hole. City maintenance said, call ODOT. When I called, it only said for urgent road hazards.

Deep, sizeable , rectangular pot hole, west bound, just before Florence exit to west 6th ave.

    • Gary Haliski says:

Sorry for the late response. This is the number I found (the Springfield office)
      2080 Laura Street
      Springfield, Oregon 97477 5
      41-744-8080
And, yes, ODOT makes it difficult.
