Luper Pioneer Cemetery is one of the oldest cemeteries in the southern Willamette Valley. The cemetery is located half a mile west of River Road on Beacon Drive, and then half a mile north or the gravel road. The city of Eugene is trying a new approach to gather input from residents. The city has created a ‘Pop-Up Tour’. Rather than setting meeting times and places and inviting citizens to attend a meeting, the city will be touring the city, stopping at high traffic events or locations.
