We’d like to give you a heads up before the agenda is finalized for our Thursday, August 4 meeting at 7PM. We’ll send out more info next week.
The 2 main topics are:
Foster Martinez from St Vincent de Paul regarding site plan changes at their 10-unit housing project at 101 Green Lane.
Jonathan Patrick, City of Eugene Public Works regarding the annexation of a portion of River Rd from Wedgewood to Beacon Dr and of Irvington Dr from River Rd heading west. The attached maps show the location of these sections. The proposed annexation applies to the street right of way only and will not require properties along either of the streets to annex.
Whether you drive, ride, walk or roll, we’re making improvements in Junction City! This week, we’re starting a paving project to preserve the road.
We are working at night, expect construction noise, delays and lane closures.
To minimize the duration of impacts, we’re doing weekend lane shifts where we move traffic off of the side of the road we’re working on. The lanes will be marked using cones and barrels. During the traffic shifts some of the side roads may be controlled by flagging.
The lane shifts are planned for several weekends, from 7 p.m. on Friday through 6 a.m. Monday:
July 29 – August 1
August 5 – August 8
August 19 – August 22
August 26 – August 29
Visit TripCheck.com for current traffic impacts and information.

The State of Oregon has an electronic vaccine card. There are options to save it to an iPhone or Android.
Oregonians can now download a unique QR code that proves their vaccine status. The optional digital vaccine verification tool, created by Oregon Health Authority (OHA), aims to eliminate the need for vaccinated Oregonians to provide a physical copy or photo of their vaccine card to prove their vaccination status and streamline the verification process for entertainment venues and restaurants that have a vaccination requirement in place.
