Here’s another reminder about our January SCCO meeting.

Our next SCCO meeting is scheduled for January 7th.  The meeting will be held via Zoom and will be at 7PM.  The agenda is very short:

  1. Election of board members. There are five board members whose term expires in January.
  2. A look back on the work of the SCCO in 2020 and a look ahead into 2021.

If you are interested in becoming a board member, the qualifications are being a resident, or property or business owner within the Santa Clara boudary and having attended at least one meeting in the past year.  

Eligible voters are those who are residents, or property or business owners within the boundaries of Santa Clara who have attended at least one meeting in the past year.

School District 4J – School Choice, Apply in January

School Choice 4J School District

From Eugene School District 4J:

The school choice season for the 2021–22 school year is coming in January.

In Eugene School District 4J, every school offers students excellent educational opportunities. Students may enroll in their neighborhood school at any time, or request to enroll in a different 4J school if space is available. School choice requests are accepted in an order determined by lottery.

To be included in the annual school choice lottery, 4J residents must apply between January 1–31. Non-district residents apply later, March 1–31.

Survey #3 for the Community Park is now available

The third survey for the 35 acre community park near Madison Middle School is now available here. It’s a short survey. Designs for both the interim projects and long term projects are included. There are opportunities for written comment.

A video of the December 3rd presentation to the SCCO is available here. The presentation was followed by a Q&A session where several questions and suggestions were taken.
