Santa Clara Community Foundation: BottleDrop Give! Earth Week Bonus

Many of you have taken advantage of BottleDrop Give! to support the Foundation’s efforts in the neighborhood. We’ve gained hundreds of dollars since we registered last year. We like to encourage more participation, especially now, during the upcoming Earth Week Give bonus period. Every returnable can or bottle will earn an extra 20% between April 10 – 22.

HOW YOU CAN HELP:

Contact foundation@santaclaracommunity.org (or call 541-689-8897) if,

  • … you don’t already have a Foundation-labeled blue bag and would like one (or several, we have plenty of bags),
  • … you have a bunch of returnables (or full blue bags) and would like someone to pick them up.
  • Plus, you can access your regular green bag BottleDrop account to donate part of your balance to The Santa Clara Community Foundation.

P.S. If you have any blue bags with the Foundation’s QR-code label sticker, you can scan the bag’s code at any redemption center drop-off to open the door and drop off your bag.

Remember to take action between April 10th and Earth Day, April 22nd, so the neighborhood can take advantage of this great 20% boost in giving through BottleDrop Give!

Thank you! And be sure to visit the Foundation table at the 12th Annual Awbrey Park Wildflower Celebration, April 29th, 11:00 am – 2:00 pm.
