Community Resilience Festival – Aug 24

The River Road Community Organization invites one and all to the Community Resilience Festival, Saturday, August 24 from 10 to 5 at the River Road Rec Center, 1400 Lake Drive in the River Road Neighborhood.

The Festival is an all day event that will be fun, educational and timely.  Its all about reducing our ecological footprints and building positive community culture. The free event will show and tell projects, actions, allies and assets we have in Eugene and the southern Willamette Valley for creating more green and resilient homes, lifestyles, city and region.

The Festival, free and family friendly, will include music, participatory art projects, educational displays, many community organizations, appropriate technology area, open space and skill shares intended to empower people to take planet and people friendly action in their own lives, homes and neighborhoods.

Early confirmed participants include EugArt404, Solar Assist, 350 Eugene, Master Gardeners, NW Youth Corps, Cooperation Eugene Time Bank, Kevin Prier Urban Homesteading Skills, Grady Barrel, Tiny Homes, Eugene Permaculture Meetup and more.
