Reminder: West Bank Extension Community Meeting this Wednesday, 5:30

From the City of Eugene:

There will be an open house on Wednesday, March 8th starting at 5:30 pm at Madison Middle School (875 Wilkes Drive directions) regarding the extension of the West Bank path from Hunsaker Lane to Wilkes Drive.

The purpose of the meeting will be to learn more about the project and schedule.  It will also provide a good opportunity for city staff to collect feedback on your opinions about where the path should go and what features it should contain.

SCCF Project Update: Hileman Landing County Park

The Santa Clara Community Foundation recently added stewardship of Hileman Landing County Park to its list of ongoing projects.

To kick off this effort, SCCF organized a work party on February 8th, 2023, to work on park projects (including invasive plant control) in collaboration with Lane County Parks and a team of young folks from Americorps/NCCC, and, of course, Santa Clara Neighbors!
