LTD seeking feedback on redistricting – by March 18

Lane Transit District (LTD) is asking the public to weigh-in on the Oregon Secretary of State’s proposed redistricting of LTD’s seven subdistricts. Every 10 years when federal census data is updated, subdistrict boundaries are redrawn in order to better reflect community demographics.

Residents of LTD’s subdistricts are encouraged to provide comment about the current redistricting proposal by emailing the LTD Clerk of the Board of Directors by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 18, 2022, at clerk@LTD.org, or provide public testimony at the March 16, 2022 virtual LTD Board of Directors meeting. Information about the virtual board of directors meeting and guidance about how to participate in public meetings is available online.More information>>

You can order FREE Covid tests again

Americans can order more free at-home COVID-19 tests from the U.S. government at COVIDtests.gov to be shipped to their homes, the White House said on Monday.

Each household can order a total of eight tests. So if you ordered four in January, when the program launched, you’re eligible to order a second batch of four more.

LTD Mobility Management Strategy Survey open til March 16

In 2021, LTD began the Mobility Management Strategy  to understand community members’ transportation habits, preferences, and barriers. Your input is valuable and will guide LTD in collaborating with partners to provide better transportation in the region. Launched in summer 2021, the purpose of the MMS is to:

  • Understand transportation needs and gaps in transportation services
  • Determine the best role for LTD to play in supporting new transportation services and programs
  • Define a process for making decisions about LTD’s role in new transportation options
  • Identify a list of potential transportation projects to implement in the future

To get feedback from the community, LTD is conducting a quick survey that is open until March 16.

LTD has a direct link to the survey https://zcu.io/VmcT.
